I’m a Christian ✝️, and a follower of Jesus Christ. For those that didn’t shudder and close the tab after they read that statement, please keep reading. I want to share my perspective on what the future of the Faith looks like, and how to hold fast to the gospel that saved you in a world that is going to become increasingly hostile to Christ’s church.

Sorry, but I’m going to start with sounds like criticism, but not becasuse I want to be an accuser. God forbid. Rather, the post started as a rant about the current state of affairs of the world, but I adapted it to be more relevant to my eternal interests. So, the opening statement should be seen as an opportunity for thorough heart and intellectual review as we explore the ideas in this post.

Let’s begin.

The Problem,

is that you won’t read this post in its entirety. It’s that you’ll skim through the terms and conditions of the options that are set before you, and select whichever resonates with you more, which is a horrendous heuristic for decision-making. Furthermore, the problem is that you weren’t taught to think critically. You weren’t taught to ask questions about everything, but were discouraged from asking questions at all. Your cognition was maimed, and a nozzle was put on your heart so that even your deepest curiosities became a Google search, rather than a step towards the evolution of your personality.

I’m not a poet, and this is not a critique on the state of affairs of the world. Honestly, I believe that if the right(eous) weild power well, the world might would’ve been entering an age of surplus that can only be supplanted in magnitude and splendor by the new heaven and new earth. However, this is not the case. And this, in the short run, is profoundly unfortunate for you and I.

So, what’s my purpose here? It’s to repeat, briefly, the words spoken by God to his people over thousands of years. There is evil in the world; that evil runs the world; and we have to fight back. Not with swords and guns, but with the Word of God.

What are we?

The most important question of the century.

What you hear a lot of today is the phrase “here’s how to stay relevant”, followed by a list of tools, technologies, trades, strategies, e.t.c., that the unsolicited expert has ranked by success-rate based on their anecdotal experience. Is this altruism at its finest? Probably not. But the reason I highlight this trend is because of what is symbolizes: desperation. At the moment, the options are to adopt the technology into your workflow, and have it save your time and boost your productivity. This is happening at every organization with a computer. But the next step is diabolical, sinister, and, potentially, unholy.

Transhumanism

If you haven’t heard this phrase, I’ll get you up to speed quickly.

It starts with economics: people need money. It makes the world go round.

The Word of God
