Introduction

We’ve reached an incredible point in human history, where artificial Intelligence promises to enable some of the most profound changes to the way we think, act, and ultimately interact with the world. Just recently, at the Google I/O 2025 event, a fleet of products were announced that one can easily imagine revolutionize commerce and entertainment, specifically. Further, these technologies also creates entire industries for personalized experiences, virtual twin technology, and other forms of media (more on this later).

The economic impacts of these early innovations are important - job loss and financial insecurity are guaranteed, and we’re already seeing some this happen. However, I argue that we must also look ahead to the problems that the Church will soon face as a result of the technologies being developed.
